ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This lunch and learn is designed to help life sciences founders to prepare a successful NIH SBIR application for the April 5 omnibus deadline. Participants will develop a checklist of what they need to do, understand key components of the call, go over questions, sticking points, and issues with Kumar and other participants.

A BOUT THE WORKSHOP LEADER

Kumar Subramanian is a serial entrepreneur and experienced executive with broad experience in life sciences, biotechnology and medical devices. He has successfully raised funding from non-dilutive sources as well as from Angels, VCs and Corporate Partners. Kumar has been a PI on SBIR projects funded by DARPA, US ARMY, NSF and NIH. He has also served on NIH SBIR review panels for over a decade and chaired a NIH SBIR review panel for two years. Kumar brings the perspective of both an applicant and the reviewer.
