Grab lunch with us and learn how to use one of the most time-saving tools at Daybreak Labs, the Opentrons OT-2 Robot. Whether it ‘s for automating liquid handling, protein or PCR prep, nothing beats Opentrons for ease of programming, configurability,and flexibilty. Join us for lunch, a presentation on how to use the OT-2 from Opentrons Field Applications Specialist, Krishna Soma, and Automation Sales Executive Steven Teng, and visit the lab for a demo from Daybreak Labs volunteer, Arjan Bains, PhD.
About the Lab Demo
Join us as we walk you through the Opentrons OT-2 robot at Daybreak Labs. We will first give attendees a look at the OT-2 robot’s hardware and the consumables that we have here. Then we will allow attendees to follow along as we demonstrate how to install, navigate, and run the Opentrons software for the OT-2 robot. If time permits, we will allow users to create and test protocols on the OT-2. Bring your laptops!
