Siegmar Pohl is a partner at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP, a multi-practice international law firm. Siegmar obtained his Ph.D. from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, Bonn, Germany and his J.D. from Universität Trier, Trier.
With over two decades of experience, Siegmar focuses his practice on cross-border M&A and complex intellectual property (IP) transactions. He frequently represents clients regarding strategic investments and corporate venture capital, including when paired with research and development (R&D) collaborations or joint ventures. Siegmar has a lot of experience in working with companies from Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Frequently, clients ask Siegmar to advise them on minimizing their liability risks when launching technology products and when entering the U.S. market. Siegmar regularly holds workshops and training sessions for board members and managers, coaching them on their duties, liabilities, and corporate governance issues. He is also a frequent speaker at international conferences and workshops.

Sarina Jwo is an associate at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP, a multi-practice international law firm. Sarina obtained her B.S. from Santa Clara University in 2016 and her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2021.
Sarina focuses her practice on general corporate matters, venture capital and debt financings, emerging companies, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and other transactional matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Sarina was Corporate Counsel at an automotive research and development center in Sunnyvale, California where she drafted technology licensing agreements to support collaborations, proof of concepts, product features, and software development; supported legal, procurement, and engineering teams in strategic partnerships with vendors and suppliers; and conducted legal research and advised the business on CCPA/CPRA and Cal/OSHA compliance.
Sarina is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
