California Life Sciences FAST Advisory Program – Overview and How to Apply

The Tri-Valley is rich with expertise in developing life sciences tools, diagnostics, and med tech devices. That is why California Life Sciences (CLS) FAST advisory program for life sciences entrepreneurs is reaching out to our region with Daybreak Labs, the Tri-Valley’s first life sciences and hard tech incubator. Shikha Sharma, PhD, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at California Life Sciences (CLS), will review the FAST advisory program including benefits to founders, program details, and how to apply. In addition, you’ll hear from FAST advisory program graduates Marco Lobba, Ph.D. CEO/Co-Founder at Catena Biosciences (FAST Alumni 2021 and Gary Choy, Co-Founder and CEO at f5 Therapeutics Incorporated (FAST Alumni 2022 & winner of the CLS-FAST Servier Discovery Award). About the FAST Advisory Program

FAST California provides founders of disruptive innovative life science technology companies with a customized advisory program to perfect their business models, assess strategic focus, maximize IP and help develop a milestone and scale-up plan to exit. A group of curated advisors, each with deep domain expertise, will work with them over twelve weeks to build a compelling commercialization strategy and prepare them for an Innovation Showcase to a curated audience of potential investors and collaboration partners. The CLS FAST program is open to startups with a California presence, that have no more than 12 employees, have raised less than $5 million, are pre-commercial, and are developing highly innovative, impactful products.

Applications are received on a rolling basis. To be considered for the Fall 2023 cohort please apply by July 1, 2023.
